This initiative started in 2012 when two friends decided to hike a mountain in Utah on a Sunday afternoon before one of the friends had to leave to live at sea level on an island away from the mountains he loved so dearly. This blog is dedicated to the notion that you can "climb mountains" wherever you are.

Mount Pluto
Today was the Tahoe Rim Tour ski race from Tahoe XC to Northstar. It was a 26k point to point classical technique race. The Farm Team swept the podium once again and I was third. Instead of skiing the full 26k back to our cars, a bunch of us hopped on the ski lift and rode to the top of the mountain to cut out the uphill portion of the ski home. I figured since the lift goes to the highest point of Northstar, I had better get a summit Sunday while I was at it.
