This initiative started in 2012 when two friends decided to hike a mountain in Utah on a Sunday afternoon before one of the friends had to leave to live at sea level on an island away from the mountains he loved so dearly. Midweek mountaineering?
This happened on Wednesday but I'm still gonna count it for #summitsunday. I skied up to Drifter Hut at Tahoe Donner Cross Country for the first time this year. I went with the Australian juniors who are in town for the month. Later that day I skied to the Crabtree Canyon section of the Euer Valley with Noah. You know it's a good day of skiing when you can go for 3 hours and 30+ kilometers without skiing the same trail twice.
