This initiative started in 2012 when two friends decided to hike a mountain in Utah on a Sunday afternoon before one of the friends had to leave to live at sea level on an island away from the mountains he loved so dearly. Who Has More Fun Than People?
It was super slow over at the XC part of Tahoe Donner, and management was looking to get rid of some money walking out of the door, so Johannes and I decided to clock out and go have a little fun over at the alpine area. We brought the XC skis, of course. The ski day consisted of tele-turns, a run through the GS course, and the terrain park.
So. Much. Fun.
We were encouraged to leave the area for lack of releasable bindings with brakes or leashes.
