Hello friends. Another Sunday, another summit. Or two! Todd and I ran to the top of two New Hampshire mountains. We were out for a little over three hours and covered some good territory. The news said that there is a hurricane brewing, but the skies are pretty darn fair by new england standards, so I'll call that a moderate victory over the weather report. Anywho, we first accended Mt. Cube, and then jogged our way over to Mt. Smarts. Cube has a slightly exposed summit, but Smarts has a fire tower that allows for some pretty nice views of the surrounding area. I just took some pictures with my camera phone again

Todd and I atop Mt. Cube. I told Todd to make handsome faces. He went with a smile, and I chose a scowl. I guess this must speak to the differences in our personalities. If you look closely you can see that we are very sweaty, and I am wearing american flag shorts. |

Some nice view from the top of Cube. |

This is a view of Smarts from the top of Cube. It seems like a long way, and it is. If you look closely, you can see the fire tower from here. |

A daunting approach to the top of the fire tower on Smarts. |

A rickety view down the stairs. |

Todd had scampered ahead of me at this point, so I got to take a vanity pic. |
